One thing dominates our garden; a mature weeping willow planted by the previous owners probably back in the early 70s. Yesterday, despite having shed around 2/3rds of its leaves (I know, I'm the one who had to rake them all up!
) in the late afternoon light the golden colour of the curtain of branches and autumn foliage was very attractive.
