  • Churchill's Chartwell

A quick visit on a sunny day (morning) as time was short. So much to see and fit in - a return visit is a must.

Chartwell taken in the large grounds

Pond with seat, where Churchill sat and fed his fish.

Churchill with Clementine -difficult getting the exposure right as the sun was full on the scene.

    Overlooking the lake

    Turkey frothing near the eye.

Geese with their goslings- just about to enter the water. How many can you count?

Very nice set, VERY impressive building and grounds. Alas, probably nothing like it within 4500 km of here.

        Thanks Steve.

Your buildings are somewhat taller than ours and make some great photogenic shots.

          Hi John -

You are a star just like fluffy - not much passes you two without comments.

Thanks so much - a visit is a must, lots to see and a very good tea room/restaurant.

          Regards. Barr1e
