Hi Raj, I can't see the images in your post - so I suspect another bug I need to fix; can you see them OK?

Yes i can..am on very slow connectivity ..but all five images visible..uploaded them directly (not via "media").. " insert..large..." shall edit my post later (a few hours from now ...am not in a good net-connectivity area) ..and perhaps try it via the "media" to see if anything changes.

Hi Raj - did you use the 'Share Photos' camera icon button or the 'Upload Attachments' (paper and paperclip icon) button?

in the first instance ..opening post ..paper and paperclip -> upload -> selected file/s from computer.

in the second instance (four posts above this reply) .. camera-icon ->select from Photo Album button.

                hope these help.

Ian.. I've made some changes (edited the post with the thumbnails which you could see )...are the images of Three (3) of the birds preceded by their names visible ?
These three images should be visible just above the thumbnails. (thats what is visible to me).

..I've tried to replicate the way i inserted images in the other post.."demoiselle cranes"...if you can see these images here, then things are working ..but a bit OFF the normal workflow..let me know, then i'll be sure about this workflow..am making notes of what is happening and shall detail out the sequence of workflow in my next post.

                    here's hoping i'm on track.

The Rufous Woodpecker inline image is missing, but the other three are visible.

                      Does that make sense?

Hi Raj, am I right in thinking that you favour the upload as an attachment method for posting photos inline in posts?

I prefer the old way of first uploading images to some "media -folder" and then posting them onto the thread (from this media folder) with the option of thumbnail visibility or full size visibility of the images..that way any visitor does not have to click on the thumbnail for a detail/larger view of the images..plus its easier to describe a series of images in story form...that is how it used to be in the earlier setup..everything was contained within the FTU site..the addition of being able to link via url's is fine but it means that location also has to be available for communication over the net at all times.
                          regards.
