  • A day at the Zoo

Anne and I took the grandchildren to Whipsnade Zoo a few days ago. Amazed how many pictures were taken and how many will end on the cutting room floor.

The animals have no respect for the camera, always moving!

Surprised how much information the young ones had stored.

    Giraffe

Siberian Tiger - not cut out for this

    Rockhopper Penguin

    More to follow.

Re: A day at the Zoo

We spent over six hours appreciating the many species the zoo had to offer and needed perhaps another six hours to cover the extensive grounds and animals.

The weather remained dry but overcast until the last hour of our visit when the sun and blue skies appeared.

        Asian Elephant

        Grvy's Zebra

        Lions - what's cooking?

Very nice pictures Barr1e. The penguin looks cool with its "fancy haircut" and red eyes.
