  • Hallo from Thailand

My name is Michael, 57,friends call me Mike for short. I am married for 17 years with a daughter age 12. I live in Thailand for almost 27 years, but born in Austria, grown up in New York at the age of 9. I sold all my DSLR's, Nikon D5100, Nikon D7000, D7200 and lenses, etc., and bought a Olympus EM10-Mark2. (black version), but give it away to my cousin and got now an Olympus EM5 ii and a Oly 12-40 2.8 pro.

I am just a hobby photographer.

BTW, mikew suggested this forum. Thanks Mike.

Hi Mike - welcome! I have ties (pardon the pun) with Thailand as well; my father re-married and lived there for around 15 years. Whereabouts in Thailand do you hail from? Maha Sarakham is where he settled so I know the Thai Smail shuttle between BKK and Khon Kaen well

Thailand is fantastic for photography as the people love to be photographed.

You know, I have never been south of Bangkok, where most tourists go, and I must have visited Thailand 7 or 8 times!

Near if it's up north from where I am but not near if it's North West across the Oceans. So that would depend where you are

Can I ask how you upload that avatar? <--- ignore this. I found out how.
