Wow - what a slog - but the server update is now complete and we're back live

Sorry again for the extended downtime!

      Ian,

Pol fom DPN here, just registered to let you know DPN isn't working properly and I can't get in there, either via the home page or the portal.

I've taken a screenshot of what I'm getting and emailED a copy to you at your DPN email addy.

It's reporting dpnow not found - even though dpn.com is showing in the url window at the top. Hopefully my email + screenshot should've reached you by now.

And apologies to FTU users for this intrusion from a Pentaxian.

      Pol

        Hi Pol,

Thanks for this - there are specific issues with DPNow - we've had to make some changes to the server addressing and this has caused more problems than with the other sites.

It should clear through in due course and I am also monitoring it.

        Thanks for letting me know!

        Ian

PS I can see DPNow on my mobile phone broadband

Excellent and thanks for the reply. I was beginning to feel concerned you may have settled down at home for the night and was considering asking Barrie or Dennis to pop over to your place and give you a prod.

I'll leave it to you now and I'll also keep testing DPN again for a short time until I have to log off for the night.

TTFN and apologies again to the regular FTU users.

Sorry to report I can't. I'm still getting the page I sent you in the email.

I'll clear my cache and report back in a few minutes.

Sorry about this folks - DNS does propagate at different rates. It will get there eventually and there is not a lot we can do, unfortunately.

Thank you for that, Graham, much appreciated. I had been wondering if it might just be me.

Ian - I've just finished clearing my cache and am still getting the page I sent you in the email.

I have to go off and do housewifely things now, such as seeing to the dinner, feeding the old fella and myself - so I'll leave Graham, Barrie, John P and any other DPN users to offer feedback about the DPN issue for now if they're able and willing to do so.

                    Thanks again chaps.

                    Pol

                      Re: We're back!

There may be something that can be done via browser settings. I can see DPNow on my laptop here but not on Julia's laptop - weirdly. Am investigating.

If you are still having problems seeing DPNow.com, please try clearing the cache on your browser.

Resetting IE may also help although this will lose any cookies, etc.
