  • Welcome to the Panasonic Lumix DMC-L10 forum!

It's been quite a well kept secret, with only one significant leak by an Italian photo mag, but the news is official - we have another new member to add to the fast-growing Four Thirds DSLR family, The Panasonic Lumix DMC-L10.

Full details about the new camera, its new standard zoom kit lens, with Mega OIS, plus an update on the previously announced 14-150 lens, can be found in the Four Thirds User news section.

If you are new to this site, why not sign up to the forum, get yourself some free gallery space in the process, and get automatically entered in a prize draw (ends at midnight UK time, 31st August) to win an Olympus E-510?

Seems like a pretty significant event in the 4/3rds world, and it looks like Ian has got a scoop. Have to say if I wanted Liveview it would have to be one like this one

Here's the full story if you have not already seen it

      Hi Ian,
It is always good to see another 4/3rds entry along with new lenses and maybe a new sensor to evaluate. It makes me wonder if Leica will introduce their own version. I can see a different top plate in the R8/R9-esque style, with maybe a silver version, Red Dot and fancy price tag, too.... One hint on that is DPR said that their test unit had gone to Berlin for some affair. Do you have any idea when you will get a test unit, for image quality comparisons? Of course, that is the question on all the goodies from C/N/O/P....busy times ahead.

Thanks guys - sorry not to have joined in earlier but have had very limited access to Internet here in Berlin and my hotel connection has been very temperamental - it's finally working just ten minutes before I check-out

I'm starting a new thread with a brief hands-on summary...
