    Ah! I am still in holiday mode; you could be right. My brain assumed that wireless flash was not supported. If it is then you should have no problems.

    Hello Ian,

    The GF6 should support wireless TTL, see page 135 of the user manual.
    I want to use it with an Olympus FL-300R.
    If this will work as I suggested then I do not have to look for a camera with hot shoe.

    Hi Jan and welcome to FTU!

    You will be able to use a flash in the way you describe either in manual mode or using the flash auto exposure mode, but not with TTL (through the lens) metering. I think the only way of triggering the flash would be as a slave using the built in camera flash. Which model external flash would you consider using?

    As this is my first post on this forum I will first say hello.
    I live in the Netherlands and for several years I own an Olympus E-420.
