  • HELP! Displaying date/time

I've just acquired an e-PL2. No, its not new, but for the price, it has all the features I need, except one.

How can I display a date and time stamp on the screen and on the image? I've read the manual from front to back, but without success.

    Re: Displaying date/time

For normal reviewing (play back) in camera you can change to the desired screen by pressing the Info button & you will see the date & time down the bottom left of the display. Also the file name incorporates the date as well when reviewing on a PC etc. The only time date & time is added in the photo is with PictBridge direct printing from the camera. That is described on page 124 of the E-PL2 Instruction Manual (PDF).

      Thanks Ross.

I need this feature for certain applications. Although the e-PL2 is 5+ yrs old, seems like a simple firmware update to make.

Here's where my old Canon A110 point 'n shoot has it over the e-PL2.
