hello im new to the gh4/ MFT realm. just received my body this week.
my family has been shooting with canon gear for decades. so i figured it would be easy to get an adapter to use all our glass on the gh4. ive been looking around and know there are the Metabones, Redrock, and now Aputure adapters which can control aperture...
i was thinking no problem i can manual focus the EF lenses anyways.
however, i just stuck the EF 600mm along with the Redrock Micro Livelens (got a deal on ebay) and it wouldnt manual focus. not sure what to do...as this lens is vital for what i do.
my questions...
are there any (affordable 200-500$) adapters out there that control aperture and autofocus?
are there any alternatives for MFT to fully access canon glass features?
how are you getting around MFT without purchasing olympus/panasonic glass?
thanks alot
