    What camera to chose to get into micro 4/3 with a budget of $500-600?
    I most often would be shooting outdoors.

    I fiddle with violins (when I'm not fiddling with a camera).
    Cameras: OM-D E-M1 & Mk II, Olympus Stylus 1, OM-D E-M5.
    Lenses: M.ZD12-40mm f2.8 PRO Lens, M.ZD40-150mm f2.8 PRO Lens with MC-14, M.ZD12-50, M.ZD60 Macro, M.ZD75-300 Mk II, MMF-3, ZD14-54 II, Sigma 150mm F2.8 APO Macro DG HSM.
    Flashes: FL36R X2, FL50R, FL50.
    Software: Capture One Pro 10 (& Olympus Viewer 3).

      Buy a used OM-D E-M5, preferably with some warranty left, and send it to Olympus for service and get a like new camera.

      It sells for $400 nowadays if not less ,and camera servicing is like $150 if you're out of warranty. They will inspect it, fix all you complain about and clean it all up and tune it.

      Be careful that Olympus warranty is not worldwide anymore.
      Bodies: E510, E30, E-PL1, Lenses: 12-60mm, 14-54mm, 50-200mm, 35mm, EC-14, 14-42mmL, 40-150mm, MMF-2.
