Finally after having to return a faulty OM to m4/3 adapter I have now obtained one that works. Armed with the E-M5, adapter, the recently gifted OM 28mm f3.5 and a Kenko 10mm extension tube I tried my hand at garden macros. Varying results but about 60% keepers:

I now have to try the 50mm f1.4 and the 135mm. Interesting experiments but worth the effort on free by lenses.

these are impressive David, I have wonderful old 55mm f2.8 Mikro Nikkor and a not so old 150mm f2.8 Sigma macro both which I want to try on my OM-D, when it arrives

Nice. Have you checked if the OM lenses are single coated?

      I've still got my OM 50mm f/3.5, Tamron 90mm f/2.5 and high magnification 38mm f/2.8.
It's the image that's important, not the tools used to make it.
