I like the detail in the shadows. What camera model?
Fill flash?
Auto gradient?

Thanks Dale. It is the E-510, they used to offer exif info here. I PP to lightened the shadows. The E-510 is good in retaining shadow detail, even when you darken the image to preserve highlight detail, you still can go back and lighten the shadows.
