My Perfect Travel Camera

My Perfect Travel Camera

This is an example of why my favourite travel and street cameras, are my small Olympus E-PL Pen cameras with equally small kit lens - people hardly notice - with the flip out screen I can hold the camera low to catch action like this, while passing by - and frame my shot. I lowered my camera to mid-thigh height.

Olympus E-PL5 with 14-42 kit lens @ 14mm : f6.3 @ 1/100th : 2500 ISO (grain was added for image processing)

Re: My Perfect Travel Camera

Yes they are wonderful and they weigh virtually nothing like that! You don't even need a camera bag.

Re: My Perfect Travel Camera

My perfect travel camera for video purposes is the Gh4 with 14-140mm, not as small as the olympus but great for video purposes.
