Re: Lumix FZ47 or Lumix GF1?
I own a GF1, bought in 2010, and I'm really happy with it. Don't now much about the FZ47 but I guess that the smaller sensor of the latter does not yield the same quality of the GF1.
Anyway, in my opinion, the real advantage of the GF1 is that it allows shooting in RAW (which I always do). The JPGs that I get after developing from RAW are often surprisingly better than JPGs that come straight out of the camera. Of course, the additional quality comes at the cost of some time spent in front of my PC playing around with different settings. Whether you like doing so, it's up to you of course!
Maybe you just need to take your time and play a bit with your GF1 and then see if you miss your other camera.
