Raj, these shots are amazing. Good location for a scifi movie. Looks like another world.

I was myself in awe when i was driving past these areas...certainly a no-mans-land..and sci-fi was the first impression i had..but in spite of the desolateness looks life is quite vibrant here for the scant population that inhabits this area..a bit further up (higher altitude) we came across the highest (elevation wise) post-office..

2... and inside .. for a cup of tea from the post master who is just about one of three inhabitants of the hamlet..was told that a postal van would visit every day to collect/deliver any mail...the rest of the delivery would be done on foot.



...so we wrote ourselves letters..the others did get theirs when they got back home to their sea-level abodes..but mine dit not reach..
