Straight out of camera JPG sequence shot with the 14-42mm kit lens @ 36mm f/5.6, ISO-200. Picture setting was on vivid so forgive the over-saturation and high contrast. I still don't know my way around the camera but was surprised at how easy it is to use. 9fps sounds like a machine-gun
Obviously the dog came forward out of the focal plane toward the end of the sequence. But pleasantly surprised at the burst and sharpness of the photos from the kit lens.

Thats a good sharp burst. It's amazing how your dog is able to balance its ball on its nose like that and then throw it to you....
I'm beginning to think he tips it away on purpose. It prolongs the chase so to speak. He times the drop than launches it even higher off his nose. Soon he'll be able to play catch by himself
