Re: So which camera is the resolution king?

I do not understand this thread.

I do not understand why the lens is out of the debate, unless the debate is about sensors quality.

I do not understand how you can compare sensors quality without using the same optics for all comparizons

I do not understand why an equal ISO, and a high ISO like 1600 is not a common criteria, like a single lens is common criteria in the comparizon.

I do not understand how you can compare pictures on the basis of miniature samples.

I do not understand why resolution is not compared not only with the same lens at the same aperture, at the same ISO, BUT ALSO USING THAT LENS AT THE WIDEST APERTURE AND AS CLOSE A DISTANCE AS THE SPECIFICATIONS OR PRACTICE INDICATE - the hardest kitchinette tour de force.

What is going on at this Anarchist thread ? I do not understand.

Kindly excuss me,
Ruben

Hmm are you going to post them? ;-) What were the results, and which lens. Hopefully both F2.0 50mm's 4/3rd lens?

Thanks Ian.

Yes I'm also waiting for the results to be updated with the same conditions. It could also be interesting to incorporate the E-P3 in the test.
