Sigma 55-200 f/4-6.3

I agree with David.
I bought a 55-200 in 2007 to use with my (then) E-500.
Later I god a ZD 50-200 to use on my E-3 and sold the Sigma.

The Oly is optically much better and faster - and has 3x the weight and (in my country) 7x the price of the Sigma.
As I mentioned - the Sigma is good for the price, as it is VERY cheap.

Well I am 16 years old.. so it is very hard to me to get money. Until now I want to be Lowbudget - Good price-quality gear. It is gonna be my first dslr, so I have to "train" a bit. This summer I go to America with my family. So that is a very good location to learn more about photography. I've planned that I am ready to buy the E-620, 14-42, 40-150, Extra Battery, and 2 UV-filters, Slingback, in June this year.

So if I get better familiar with photography I might buy a more expensive lens, but for now I stay at budget.

not a bad lens. between the 40-150 and the 55-200, i would buy the olympus lens. just because it's made by olympus and i would assume it to be slightly better. i had this 55-200 on sale, but since it didn't sell on ebay, i decided to give it another try. this was a handheld shot. for the money i paid, i like the results and the isolation. i have the 50-200, but when i don't want to carry it but still want a little reach, this has come in handy. again, i sold my 40-150, twice. if i were to buy it again, i would get the older version. me thinks.

The E-620, 14-42, and 40-150 makes a great kit to start with. You really can't go wrong with it. Once you've used these lenses for a while, you will have a better idea of what other lenses, if any, will suit your photographic style and subject matter better. And you may very well find that the two kit lenses are all you need.
