Mmm? No comments on our GF1 samples?

RAW files will be added later today to the JPEGs for anyone who wants a go at adapting their RAW converter to work with them.

I've also added descriptive captions to some of the sample images, especially for the My Color effects mode samples.

Ian, I certainly found them useful because a lot of them were taken with the 1.7/20, thanks!

Couldn't open the raw files in ACR 5.4, but Picasa 3 did the job. No corrections on CA and distortion here, so the naked lens performance can be judged and it doesn't look all that bad.

Re: Sample images and video from the new Panasonic DMC-GF1

well i've found the 3200ISO quite acceptable.

the 20/1.7... i'm not that pleased. i like the detail of the face at 1.7, but the tree bark is just a huge mess... maybe it was the af that missed something there or has problems with heavy "rippled bumpy" textures.

the bokeh of the lens, for me, it's not very good. i prefer my pentacon at 1.8 that this at 1.7 but hey... this one is a pancake so it's better not to compare them

Peder, do you still have your M2? You will be able to use your M-series lenses on the GF1 if you use an adapter.
