Hi, lo + branched out

Kingfisher near the water's edge – perhaps she finds it cooling being that low.

This female looks branched out . Most unusual for us to get one to land or sit on a single branch or post out in the open.

This male sits on high.

Olympus OM-D E-M1 mk2 - Olympus 40-150 lens coupled with the 1.4 converter - A.mode + various settings

I think our season with the birds must be close to them pairing off – they seem to be getting nearer to one another’s territory without the usual scraps.
