The link isn't working for me.

In short: if you own Oly glass this body is the best news in a long time. As you will be able to get better results from ALL of your existing glass. He has got some great "photographers" shots on his flickr page to go with the review. And frankly it is the first review that makes me go from "E-5 could be a sensible upgrade" to "wow - would love to have this body behind me Panleica 14-50 OIS or 11-22 etc, etc,

    Enjoy, Martin

Can not see, that this review

    http://weinzettl.info/

has been posted here/included in the list. It is in German but it is very thorough and convincing and accounts generally of the new features not only high ISO and image quality - even the autofocus of the 50-200 mm non-SWD is supposed to work better. With respect to details and dynamic range I think that the shot of the church and the tree speaks for itself if not to say the crop of the church window. Also the direct comparison E3-E5 on the horizon out of the window on the boat shows a big difference ( zooming in it only becomes clearer).

Re: E-5 Sample and Review Aggregation

Just read a review in practical photographer.

I don't place much weighting on them due to where their loyalties might lie but in a shoot out with the Pentax K-5, Nikon D7000, Canon EOS 7D and the Olympus E-5, the E-5 came stone last and 400 more expensive than the winner which was the Nikon.

I was looking to upgrade from E-510 but will keeping my money for now
    E-510, kit lens 14 - 42mm 1:3.5-5.6 ED, kit lens 40 - 150mm 1:4-5.6 ED, FL-36R, Olympus lens 70 - 300mm

Re: E-5 Sample and Review Aggregation

hey can i ask an almost inconsequential (out of curosity) question before i leave? yes? good.

what does the shutter release sound like on the e5, i can't tell much from the youtube video i watched. is it anything like the e1...which has the sweetest sound ever?

my e30 is soooo loud. i love my camera, but she can really scream: hear me roar!

    thanks!
Happily photographing within my camera's limitations.

Ref: Photo PO 240742- How did you get the exposure on the baby so much lighter than the rest of the picture?
