Re: E-5 sample images from Photokina

I am trying very hard to wait until this camera is out to see if there are any deals and not pre-order it now...but, my resistance is wearing down with each batch of sample photos...won't be long now...

Any early insights into performance, in particular CA? Is it better here than e.g. the m.Zuiko 14-150 or the 14-42?

    Thanks in advance

Build quality looks good and it has the new generation AF motor that is quick and very quiet. I have some samples taken with this that I will upload soon.

I'm meeting Panasonic in about 15 minutes - not sure they have sample-ready examples to let us loose with though.

Re: E-5 sample images from Photokina

Unfortunately the upload speed here at the Photokina press office is very slow, so I'm going back to my hotel as the press office is about to close for the day. The Internet at the hotel is even slower, but I can just let it do its thing in its own time.

But eventually I will have 15 new samples for you to try, some with the Noise Filter on and comparisons with the Noise Filter off, and some RAW files too. m.Zuiko 40-150 samples will be uploaded too.

Can't wait to see these. I just pre-ordered the E-5. Yikes!

That is what I was expecting and am glad to hear about now that the E-5 is out.
