Congrats and well done Ian from Perth, Western Australia. Good to see another 4/3 site online. Best of luck and hope you have your wellies and rowing boat standing by (according to news reports over here). We could do with a whole lot of that precipitation that you have received.

    Cheers. Bill

    Welcome, Bill!

I can claim some distant affinity with you - I was born in Newcastle, NSW.

Not been back since I was about 3, unfortunately - it's on the to-do list

It was like this down the road from us the other day:

Luckily we aren't in a flood plain and the flood disappeared as fast as it appeared.

Nice sunny day today - good news for the badly affected areas, thank goodness.

Thanks Ian, it's tedious, but rewarding in the satisfaction sense. Also allows me to rationalize camera and lens purchases!

Nice site, I'm a glad to be aboard amateur here in Texas, USA. Ian we have had our fair share of rain here in Texas as well this summer. Very unusual here this time of year.

Hans do you have a website? That is a beautiful instrument. Reminds me of one David Grisman has on on of his album covers. My son is a mandolin player. Mandolin Man 1 and Mandolin Man 2

    Re: FTU Day One!

Will, your son is quite the smooth player! I've put up a website URL with my signature, but it's not coming through for some reason. Not wanting to hijack the thread, but it's www.brentrup.com
Photo content: all the pix on the site were taken with an E-1 with ZD 14-54 lens.

I believe it is my turn to congratulate you. The site is very good, and definitely has a bright future ahead of it.

    Re: FTU Day One!

This thread looks a little dead, so I thought I would give it a bump and say well done on the site. Everything looks great!
