    Day Out - London - 17th May

Following the Woburn Meet, which was a great success thanks to all those who attended, it's now time to finalise details for our LONDON MEET on SATURDAY 17TH MAY.

We will be meeting at the Bush & Fields Cafe in Museum Street (off Great Russell Street, near the British Museum) between 9.00 and 10.00am.

Our first location will be the British Museum, after which we can move on to Covent Garden or some of the many nearby open spaces and squares, such as Greys Inn, Lincolns Inn or Russell Square.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE COMING, EITHER BY POSTING ON THIS THREAD OR BY PRIVATE MESSAGE. IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY SAID YOU ARE COMMING, PLEASE RE-CONFIRM I look forward to meeting any of you who were on the Woburn Meet again and others for the first time. Members of E-System User Group will, of course, also be most welcome.

And please be careful out there.

Don't all get arrested. Someone get some good shots of the other people being carted off by the zealous police.

I've seen the Woburn group photo and the anti-photo ad, and if ever a bunch of people looked suspicious.....

It'll be interesting to see what reaction we get, but I often find a bit of diplomacy works wonders. Mind you, if anyone produces that 90-250 near the Houses of Parliament it's bound to start a Red Alert - it looks more like a rocket launcher than a lens!

I'll move this back up the list so it doesn't get lost.

I hope to make it, but won't know for sure probably until the day before as I only fly back then.
    Hopefully see you there!

If you can make it, great. If not, we'll catch you again some other time.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make this one personally as I will be travelling to the Far East. However, I will put in a request to Olympus and Panasonic Lumix to request loan of some lenses for everyone to be able to try out on the day.
