Question Can i completely disable display on lcd screen?

Hi - I am projecting live images during a performance this Friday using a Panasonic GH4 but will need to make slight adjustments (reframe, focus, etc.) while the projection is live. I notice that even once the info display on the LCD screen disappears, it re-appears when I manipulate anything like focus or zoom with my lens. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?
    Thanks in advance.

Can you flip the screen around and close it? Would that do?

Unfortunately no, the screen is my the only way to monitor - i can't have my eye in the viewfinder, its kind of a complicated/unusual shoot.
