We decided to go out to the countryside today as the weather forecast was dry and sunny spells.
We visited two of our favourite butterfly sites and were pleased to see a variety of them. The whites I took suffered from the windy conditions so they hit the cutting room floor .
Brimstone sitting low out of the wind.
Comma eating over ripe fruit which they prefer.
Pheasant scurrying through the long grass.
Ready for sowing (tilling) with a Virgin train making a timely appearance.
Autumn light Well we had to look in on the canal – no kingfisher though.
Taken with Olympus OM D EM 1 mkII + 40-150 lens + 1.4 coverter - A.mode etc - Also shown on www.dpnow.com
