Only joking David, doing that could possibly make you even more Persona Non Grata than I am. Just stick to being a Grumpy Old Snapper, you do it sooooo well

Actually I think I may have solved the question of how they were using PM. I seem to think rating a photo in the Gallery counts as a post so randomly rating 5 photos may allow you to PM.
It's the image that's important, not the tools used to make it.

I've just tested that theory by rating a random post. It does count as a post but it also shows up in your "Post Count" so can't be how these guys are bypassing the system as they are shown as "Zero Posters".

Anyway Ian has posted the solution so I had better not comment further.

Back to the original question at the start of this thread. It may generate some interest/activity so it can't hurt.

I agree David but it needs a few to express an interest or it's a futile exercise.

    Hello Hal,

The easiest way to explain it is if you click this link to the E-System User group. John ( Zuiko ) an Admin there and also a member here devised the idea and explains it in the link. It has proved to be quite popular with members of that forum.

    Hi Stef

I think Ian was hoping to breathe new life into the forum with the updates etc. but I fear it's too far gone now. One post every couple of days is pretty dire. Still, it means you can have your regular naps without being disturbed .

As for the suggested Picture Trail, I recon there are simply not enough active members to make it viable.
