Hi Ross, is there no resident Admin or Moderator on this forum ? The only one I've seen so far is Ian.

    Regards,

I think John Perriment used to do it, but not anymore. I don't know of anyone else.

Thanks Ross. I guess with only a handful of genuine active members nobody is all that bothered now. It's a shame, as it used to be quite a good forum.

Hi John, thank you for doing that. I shall proceed from where I left off. I tried to log onto the e-group but the password was thrown out. I used the same one here and it worked. We had some deaths in the immediate family and photography took second place, I lost interest and only recently, it has picked up again.
    Best wishes

Here is a photo I took out in the bush in Laikipia, Kenya at a ranch house overlooking a garden pond. Within 30 minutes, the light had dropped completely. The rainbows appeared in the distance and the badly needed rains did not come. Should I start a new thread?

That does look good. Very sorry for your family deaths but it's good to see you getting back into the joys of taking photos. Since this is a new subject I suggest you start a new thread with this image & subject (leave it here as well).
A suggestion to John though, it would be best to delete the quoted link etc from that spammer too.

Hi Ross. You're confusing my tiny brain now. Which "John" are you referring to and which link and spammer. The spam post I looked at has been completely deleted by somebody a few days ago with no link visible. I've no idea who deleted it. I can't see any other posts from anyone named John on my screen. Am I missing something ? (again)

    Regards John

Yep, you're missing something! It's the quote of that spammer (on page 1 of posts) in you post that is still there with with the link in it.

Well spotted Ross, it all becomes clear now but unfortunately I've just tried to edit that post and can't. The forum must have a time limit for editing. Maybe if an Admin. wanders past they would be good enough to edit or delete it. Thanks for pointing it out Ross.

You're welcome. I know the editing time is limited here.
