Over at our sibling site (Olympus UK E-System User Group) - we're in the early stages of planning a meet in the Cambridgeshire fens to hone bird in flight skills and to photograph birds of prey. Here is the post reproduced from there:

Yes I know it's not a falcon

After some discussion here, the consensus is that we need another day out at Fens Falconry, which is near Wisbech, in the Cambridgeshire Fens.

There will be a direct focus on improving BIF photography technique and getting the bottom of the complex Olympus camera settings to aid in achieving a higher keeper rate. Particular attention will be paid to the OM-D E-M5 Mark II but users of all models should be able to benefit. And you will be able to photograph a wide variety of birds of prey.

Andy Elliott, of Olympus birds of prey photography fame, who is an affiliate of Fens Falconry, needs to know how many people would be interested in attending and what the candidate dates are. Currently end of August or beginning of September are on the cards but not set in stone.

So if you can express interest and preferences here, that would be great!

I will update here with further news, including costs and what would be on offer.

You can see what we got up to there in 2014 in the gallery.
