Nice shot, Philip, but for the salon you need to post a photo from your FTU gallery

Ian - I'm struggling with the gallery. Is 850px really the max dimension? I don't normally produce JPEGs less than 1024px (which is the size I normally post).

OK - uploaded a reduced image now.

Oh drat. My fault entirely, apologies to the forum. Rules are rules and if it's okay I will compile the gallery contribution tomorrow. Thank you Ian

With a title of "Two Old Queens", I was expecting something totally different

Hi Paul - I set the maximum height to 800 and width to 1200. I can change these but I have a 2560x1440 monitor and with the overhead of the browser a 1024 tall image hardly fits. The height will be definitely chopped on a 1920z1080 HD monitor.

It's different with tablets and phones of course - images are zoomed.

You don't use a 4K or 5K monitor by any chance?

Another reminder guys - you need to use the gallery here to qualify

    Ok thanks Ian.
It appears the forum accepts BB codes. I most always post direct from Flickr as I'm basically a lazy person. I'll explore posting to the gallery sometime tomorrow.

Hi Ian - My max monitor resolution is 1080p - so 1920 x 1080. I agree that the image needs scrolling if it's bigger than about 800 px - but I personally prefer that than having a very small image being displayed. Anyhow - I've uploaded a smaller version now. Thanks.
