    Re: 207th FTU Salon "camera"

A Panasonic Lumix DMC-L1 and an Olympus E-330 wearing each other's lenses, taken at the PMA show in Orlando, Florida in 2006.

The E-330 came out a few weeks prior to the show while the L1 was launched at the show. The two cameras shared the same sensor (Panasonic's first MOS-type Four Thirds sensor but called LiveMOS, a trademark owned by Olympus), AF system, shutter and unusual porro viewfinder. The cameras were actually quite different in the way they worked and handled.

That's my E-330 on the right and I still have it. The photo was taken using a Canon EOS-5D (Mark 1) belonging to my friend Mark Goldstein, who runs Photography Blog. There was more noise in that full frame camera's images at ISO 3200 than today's OM-Ds

Thanks you all for your entries.

I loved Kurt' old Kodak, a real classic.

Ian's E330 and L10 two cameras that were around about the same time I got my first DSLR an E500.

But my winner is Deevee's second, all the Pen family with a Trip thrown in. I've still got one of those somewhere.

Well done and over to you.

    All the best

Good choice, thanks for running the Salon. Sorry I couldn't find the correct cupboard to search the bottom of to find my real first camera, but I searched the inter web and found an image of one!

    Thanks Andy for the endorsement
It took more than 40 years to amass such a collection
Will come up with a new theme soon
    Cheers ,
