Looking for Sigma 50-500. Anyone? Anyone?

I've been on the hunt for a used, good-condition Sigma 50-500 with a four/thirds mount. There doesn't seem any out there in Google-land. Does anyone have one that's not part of your regular rotation

I saw this post on DPReview, you might check with this person and see if it is still for sale.

I have one on loan from a friend (in Australia) & I am disappointed with its softness at the long end compared to using the M75-300 lens (on the E-M1) & also the ZD50-200 SWD lens (&) with the EC14 (cropping the image to match the 500mm output). I am giving it back to him.

I tried it on my E30 & if I didn't have any of the M4/3's cameras I do now then I probably would have been satisfied with it, but then again, the 50-200 & teleconverter probably does better on the E30 too for image sharpness of the same subject (cropped).

Good input! HUGE thanks for the lead at DPReview

Thanks for your help. I'd like to take a chance on the lens if I can find one for a decent price....

Hope it works out for you. I have a Sigma 50-500, and like Ross says it can be soft on the long end. It seems to sharpen up at f8 to f11, but you need some good light to keep the shutter speed up.
