    Legacy lens compatibility

Another problem with a legacy lens compatibility on my EP5.
A Tamron 90mm 2.5 macro behaves perfectly in every respect except the iris will not stop down. Works fine on my OM film cameras but put an MF2 adapter on and the iris stays wide open.
Do I need a different adapter - any suggestions?
    Cheers

I'm assuming you have an Olympus Adaptall II mount on the lens; I always use a Tamron-m4/3 adapter when using my Tamron SP 90 2.5. Check out: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Roxsen-Tam...kAAOSwPgxVNyam That is the kind that I use and it's a nice tight fit. I have a large range of old Tamron lenses from 17mm to 500mm and they all work perfectly using these kinds of adapters. When using a macro lens, the tight fit is of course vital as any movement when shooting is exaggerated at very close range and high magnifications; I've never experienced a problem with the 90mm and its extension tube.
