Smile new to GH4, canon lenses wont focus

hello im new to the gh4/ MFT realm. just received my body this week.
my family has been shooting with canon gear for decades. so i figured it would be easy to get an adapter to use all our glass on the gh4. ive been looking around and know there are the Metabones, Redrock, and now Aputure adapters which can control aperture...

i was thinking no problem i can manual focus the EF lenses anyways.
however, i just stuck the EF 600mm along with the Redrock Micro Livelens (got a deal on ebay) and it wouldnt manual focus. not sure what to do...as this lens is vital for what i do.

    my questions...

are there any (affordable 200-500$) adapters out there that control aperture and autofocus?

are there any alternatives for MFT to fully access canon glass features?

how are you getting around MFT without purchasing olympus/panasonic glass?

    thanks alot

If that Kipon can AF the EF lenses then it should also control the aperture too, but that would need to be confirmed.

Here is one seller that is selling the NON-AF model http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kipon-Canon-...-/351069330210

I've gone to the Kipon web site (a little slow to download the images though for me). http://www.kipon.com/en/articledetail.asp?id=80

    The necessary info.
KIPON released world first Canon EF-MFT autofocus electronic adapter

Five years ago, KIPON developed out world first mechanic adapter with built-in iris, to use Canon EF lens on MFT(m4/3) body, to solve the problem for only electronic iris control of Canon EF lens. Today still KIPON, we bring to market a new world first full Auto-focus adapter, to use Canon EF full frame and EF-S Apsc lens on MFT(m4/3) body.

This adapter equipped with electronic contact and built-in circuit board with chip, besides auto-focus and stability function, also can transmit precise EXIF information to the camera body.

The market price for this adapter is 285USD,will be on sale from May 10, 2015.

KIPON is leading brand in lens adapter field, the adapters we developed have many series, over 500 models, our products widely be used for consumer photography, broadcasting and cine, medical, industry cameras, etc..
