I'm planning a day at Kentwell Hall on Saturday 14th June when 250 costumed 'Tudors' will re-create a day from the 16th Century. It should be colourful and spectacular with loads of photo opportunities!

Here's a link to the event: http://www.kentwell.co.uk/events/tud...-kentwell-1559

Kentwell Hall is situated on the edge of Long Melford, itself a very picturesque Suffolk village. Opening times are 11.00am to 5.00pm. Adult ticket £18.90 (£17.01 if booked in advance), quite expensive but I think it will be worth it.

I suggest we meet at 11.00am (immediately after opening) at the Stableyard Tea Room.

Who's up for it?
