    Wartime in the Cotswolds

Some images taken at a re enactment event at Toddington station in Glos.

This is one of the first events I covered using the OMD.

    Re: Wartime in the Cotswolds

    Thanks All,

It was a fun day with many interesting people around, there were a lot of photo opportunities and the OMD did not draw attention (swamped by too many people with large DSLR's top loaded with flash, many being carried not too many being visibly used).

This lady was dressed as a US war photographer and was carrying this beautiful Contax (she also had a Rlleiflex) - cameras were in full working order but alas, she had no interest in photography just the dressing up part!

That's a nice photo of her despite her not being interested in the part she is playing. To me that's like seeing actors pretending to play a violin or cello without appearing to be too convincing.

    Re: Wartime in the Cotswolds

    Apologies,

I have just realised I have posted these images in the wrong category and they should not be in the POTD section.

    Sorry
