    "Memory card full" message

I've just put two memory cards into my new G6. One, a Sandisk Ultra 8gb HC1 card, works fine.

The other, a Canon 32gb SDC-32MH card allows me to take just three shots and then an error message comes up saying "Memory Card is Full". The three shots are one the card and can be downloaded. Both cards look the same when plugged into a card reader, with the same folder structure. I've also looked at the card in Mac's Disk Utilities and they looked the same. And I have formatted both cards on my Mac and then in the camera.

    Any ideas, anyone?

Please check your canon card again. Are you sure it's 32GB not MB?

No probs. It's very easy to make such of a mistake nowadays as you look only the number and take the unit by default as the most common for it.

An easy mistake to make, yes. These days the megabyte is almost a forgotten unit .
