This site is all about photography. I'm sure I speak for most of us that we look forward to viewing each others' photos here and that is why a users' photo gallery is provided for everyone registered on the forum - and it's free! Just paste the BBCode from the page your photo is shown in - in the gallery - into your forum post, or use the My Pics easy photo insertion tool in the Advanced mode when entering your post onto the forum.

You can also show photos hosted on other sites using the 'Insert image' icon when you enter a post on the forum.

These two methods are the best for showing photos. There is another facility on the forum that is possible to be used to add photos to a post, the forum file attachment option. This is a bit easier to use, maybe, but it's the wrong option for a photography site; photos are only shown as thumbnails until you click on them rather than being shown at a good size within your post.

If you use the gallery then your photos will be browsed continuously over months and years while posting as an attachment they will be invisible after a few days.

In order to encourage members here not to use file attachments for photos I have reduced the JPG file size limit 30K. This is adequate for small snips and other content, but not for high quality web resolution photos.

I am sorry if you disagree with this policy but I think it is for the best in the long run here on the Four Thirds User forum.
