Olympus E-5 in Broken City trailer

I noticed a post over on dpreview where it mentioned that Mark Wahlberg is using an Olympus E-5 in the trailer for the upcoming Broken City movie.

About 1:09 into the trailer :-)

Reading further into the responses to that posting, apparently it had been noticed and remarked upon at least twice before :-) I hadn't noticed those postings. The E-5 is being used with the ZD 70-300mm lens.

Very funny to see that combo and the fake look through the viewfinder - as there is a split prism and it's aspect ratio in the movie is like 16:9 or so..
And indicated aperture value is 2.8.. I want my 70-300 to be f/2.8 right now!!
    Regards, Pavel.

I've noticed in a few films of late that the "Logo" on the front of cameras is being obscured. Probably because of "Product Placement" and the camera companies will not pay for the free advertising.

Olympus paid to have an OM4(T/Ti?) in one of the James Bond films in the 1980's. I can't remember if the camera was on the movie poster or in the films opening sequence. They also sponsored the Lotus F1 team around the same time.
It's the image that's important, not the tools used to make it.

I remember that now that you mention it, but I don't recall which film offhand.

    edit -
A web search says it was in "License to Kill."
