I should stop here but I will continue

instead of using the sepia "creative style", why don't you just use the monochrome "photo style"? :)

E-PL2 w/ 20 or 14 pancake from Panasonic. or, if you find it at a good price, the slow and noisy 17 pancake.
in this way, you'll really have a compact camera...

the GF3 is a little big camera... you won't be disappointed.
anyway, pay attention to the details. good subject can easily be ruined by not-so-good compositions / crops / lightining / backgrounds /...

remember you won't have IS with a Pana body :\ if you shoot movies, it could be very useful and you should get the Pana, instead
if...

Re: Dog Agility Set Up advice please E-410 14-42MM
If I were you, I just wouldn't shoot at "slow" shutter speeds. Panning dogs isn't that effective because of the great lack of detail (see the difference between the 8th picture @ 1/400s and the 10th...

Re: Dog Agility Set Up advice please E-410 14-42MM
RE focusing: remember that every ZD lens is not a zomm but a varifocal lens: changing the focal lenght changes the focus, so every time you zoom in/out, you always have to check the focus again. You...

stay as close as possible.
can you borrow an inexpensive 40-150 f4-5.6? you could get faster shutter speeds (f4@40mm vs f5.6@42mm) and the possibility to isolate more the subject from the background...

Re: Best AF Single Focal Length Below 25mm
They have a different behavior: the Panasonic is well corrected and pretty sharp, the zuiko has a reportage-like-soul with sharp center and not-so-sharp corners.
The Pana has a better AF, while the...

Re: Best AF Single Focal Length Below 25mm
If you can't wait for the Zuiko 2/12, there's the fantastic Pana 1.7/20.
If you want a more wideangle lens, look for the little Pana 2.5/14.

Re: Compatibility question
Theoretically, you can buy the 43 adapter and the ZD 70-300 but you won't have good AF at all.... this lens isn't fast even with 43bodies...
My advice? Buy a Pana 45-200 or - if you want that 300mm...

Re: Some questions about E-PL2 (and vs GF1)
1 - of course. Pana lenses perform better on Pana bodies (CA correction is included. Distortion correction works in any m43 body)
2 - yes. don't know if it's movable
3 - in low light, the Pana AF...

Re: EPL-1 or EPL-2
here in Italy you can find the E-PL1 at 299 € body-only. and you still cannot find the newer E-PL2 kit (14-42 mk2) for 599 €
i would buy the second one, anyway. better screen, better ergonomics,...

Re: Which tele lens for Pen?
if you already have the 43mount 9-18, go for the second choice.
the zuiko 40-150 isn't that fast and silent, but the AF works well on m43 bodies :)
ps. the m43 40-150 is smaller, faster and...
