No way I had done that Barr1e. Perhaps 30 years ago, but I'm not sure I had done it even then. As Ross wrote, you are a brave man.

Very nice pictures Barr1e. The penguin looks cool with it´s "fancy haircut" and red eyes.
  10. Re: A young Goshawk picking a fight with a Buzzard

    Thank you very much Ian.

    I used the m.zuiko 300/f4.0 + the MC-14 and an E-M1 Mark II.

    Thanks Guys!

Now I have cropped the second picture a bit more, but I had to ad some sharpening too.

  12. A young Goshawk picking a fight with a Buzzard

I saw this fight today. It was the Goshawk that started it, but were later chased away by the Buzzard.

Whitw-tailed eagle killed by wind turbine

This happened December 27. I'm not sure this link works oust side Sweden. It was a 4,5 year old eagle that was cut i half by the wind turbine. It sadly happens from time to time here in Sweden.

Hi Barrie, and thanks for that link. Here where I live kingfishers are very rare, so I'm glad if I see one, once or two times/year.

    Young female sparrowhawk

My guess that she is around 2 months old. I like the performance of the 300/f4.0 even with the MC-14, that these photos was shot with.
