Hi, just spotted on the front page of dpreview, that Olympus released firmware updates for most (all?) E-system bodies to operate the new 2x tele-converter.

Now that is good news. It's good to know older cameras will be updated with hardware support. Any news if any other features have been sneaked in?

I know there will be rumblings in online forums about focus confirmation etc with legacy glass. Any ideas?

Interestingly, the E400 is missing from the list.

Have you tried connecting and checked whether it works? There is no warranty that the list on dpreview is exhaustive. If it doesn't work today, try again in a few days. In the past there have been issues with update being available only a few days after their announcement.

If all fails, Ian might want to query this with Oly-UK. He seems to have a good wire to them.
