How well do Nikon manual focus lenses work on OM DSLR's when mated with an OM-Nikon adapter? How easy or hard is it to manually focus? Can you use live view?

Certainly manual lenses work fine with a Nikon to 4/3rds adapter...focus is all about practice

live view or Viewfinder?

Both...I use a Nikon 85mm f2...during the day I use the viewfinder and at night I use the LV...but you must practice if manual focussing is new to you

Taken with a (borrowed) nikon 80-400 f4.5-5.6.
used the view-finder.. attached to e3 with a cheap-china 4/3 to nikon mount.
most of the pics taken with this lens(but for the first six)

i'm sure better results can be got with some experience.

Am I correct in assuming that if you use a newer G-type Nikon lens (which does not have an aperture ring) that you will not have control of the aperture on an Olympus camera with an adapter? In this case, will the lens be wide open or fully stopped down? Are there adapters that will provide aperture control with newer Nikon (or Cannon, or . . . ) lenses?

Just curious . . . I'm perfectly content with my Olympus Digital Zuiko lenses. *inlove

I have a lot of older Nikon manual focus lenses and it is not too hard at to focus other than stop down metering. Any fix for that?
