Olympus will finally reveal its pro-spec DSLR successor to the original E-1 in just over a month's time
Check out our forum dedicated to the E-1 successor
Above is the E-1 successor prototype pictured on the Olympus booth at PMA in March
We have had word from Olympus here in the UK that the top of the range successor to the E-1 pro-spec model that launched the E-System and the Four Thirds standard back in 2003 will be revealed in full on Wednesday 17th October.
There isn't a lot more to say, but this brief announcement will mean a lot to the many Four Thirds users out there that have been patiently waiting for news of the arrival of the new and, as yet, unnamed, camera, which has been shown in various prototype forms since this time last year at the big biennial Photokina photo trade show in Germany.
