The Olympus E-510 is, arguably, the most advanced Four Thirds DSLR yet, and you could win one with Four Thirds User! You can find out how in just a second.

Using the very latest ten megapixel LiveMOS sensor technology, mated to Olympus' brand new moving-sensor image stabilisation technology, The E-510 is currently the Olympus E-System flagship model. Like all Four Thirds DSLRs currently available, the E-510 uses the leading sensor dust prevention technology; the Olympus-developed Supersonic Wave Filter. But that's not the only Supersonic Wave application inside the E-510; it uses the same technology to actuate its electro-mechanical moving sensor image stabilisation system.

And of course the E-510 features Live View, enabling you to compose, evaluate exposure and white balance, plus critical sensor-level focus, using the E-510's high resolution 2.5 inch LCD screen.

It's very simple, all you need to do is to register yourself on the Four Thirds User discussion forum. It costs nothing but a few minutes of your time. At the end of August we will randomly draw the winner from the database of registered forum members.

Competition rules

1. This competition is a prize draw, entry remains open until midnight, British Summer Time, 31st August 2007, and the winner will be selected on 1st September 2007, randomly by computer, from the Four Thirds User discussion forum member database. No purchase is required.

2. The winner will be revealed on 1st September 2007 and details posted on this competion page and on the Four Thirds User forum.

3. The competition is open to individuals resident in any country as long as a delivery address can be provided for shipping of the prize. You do not need to provide your address to enter the competition, but if you do not acknowledge your win within 28 days of being notified, and provide your delivery address in that period, an alternative winner will be randomly selected. It's important, therefore, that you ensure your email address registered on the forum remains up to date.

4. Only one entry is permitted per person. We have various ways of detecting if multiple entries are submitted. If you are suspected of having entered more than once, your entry will be suspended and, subject to further investigation, you may be disqualified. This rule will be rigorously enforced!

5. The prize is an Olympus E-510 DSLR camera. There is no cash alternative.

6. No employees of The Write Technology Limited, publishers of Four Thirds User, nor their immediate relatives, is eligible to enter this competition.
